Target $7 Sample Box

Ahhhhh. Remember those good old times when these sample boxes/bags from target were free. *Cough*  Plus a couple other times that I never actually posted. I'm assuming due to the craziness that those bags created and the money lost from making so many, Target finally decided to start charging for them. Welcome to the $7 Beauty Sample Box. Still is a good deal though.

What's inside?

L'orealColour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in 103 Blushing Harmony:
Full-size. To be honest, I didn't even realize L'oreal came out with a new line of liquid lipsticks. It looks like a nice rosey color, but its actually a very My-Lips-But-Better color, for me. It's thicker, but not sticky. Has a sight fruity smell and taste, but thankfully, it's not sweet. I hate that in lip products. This seems to also be quite moisturizing.

Laneige BB Cushion Samples:
I actually received this in an Ipsy a while ago too. The concept is interesting. It's essentially a makeup soaked sponge. I'm not entirely sold on the antibacterial sponge aspect they are talking about. This comes with 3 sample shades of BB cushion and a SPF 50 sunscreen.

Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk:
Full-size. Seriously still a staple for me. Great white sticky base for brighter colors, though its downside is that you can't wear it on it's own like many other jumbo eyeshadow pencils on the market or it will be a creasy mess.

L'oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray:
This is the 2.2 oz travel version. This products has a huge cult following. I've always wanted to try it out, but I could never justify the price with how often I hardly style my hair. I have heard this isn't "crunchy" or have a powder white residue and is flexible with styling.

Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo:
This is the 1.7 oz travel verson. I'm always into finding a good dry shampoo. Every time I use dry shampoo, it end up being a powdery white and undesirable mess and end up washing my hair to get it out anyways. Hopefully this is alright. *crosses fingers*

*Also comes with a $3 off a $15 beauty purchase from Target and the coupon code LOVEBEAUTY to Dermstore.com for 20% off and Free Shipping with a complementary gift. *

Overall:
Great value. The liquid lipstick alone would've went over the box price. I didn't expect to actually look into this, but it was lovely. Also, very happy they don't hide which products you receive in the box. It's nice to gear the value and decide if it's worth it on the spot nowadays with all these mystery boxes on the market.

Haul: Tons of Physicians Formula, some Extras & CVS News!

Here is My Physicians Formula Haul as promised and as I said before (in last haul post) these products weren't all purchased at the same day or even week, they were bought over a coarse of a month or more.

All these PF products were purchased with the $5.00 Off Coupon, which can be found here:
http://www.raininghotcoupons.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/eyebooster-coupon-3-1.pdf
Its good till 6/15/11! So you still have loads of time!
I on the other hand, I'm probably stopping with these gems I got. Or will I? ;P
Don't Worry if I do, I'll definitely make a Part 2 to this haul even though technically this is part 2 of a collective haul haul... ^^;

Anyways my new 9 little gems from Physicians Formula:

Trip One~

Where: Wal-Mart
Worth: $22.30
Paid: $12.30

At the time I was Sad I Discovered the coupon after I missed the 40% off at CVS deal a little while back, and I was itching to use it. For one, to see if it was valid, and two, the fact it's 5 bucks off of PF(One of the most expensive/healthiest DS brands). Low and behold it worked. :D

Eye Booster eyeliner in Ultra Black: $9.63(Paid $4.63)~ I've been lemming after this since I heard about all the review raves about it, plus the fact it's infused with a lash growth serum! Perfect to satisfy my eyeliner addict and my short stubby Asian lashes.

Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Light Bronze Pearl: $12.67 (Paid $7.67)~ So Pretty, but I sorta regret not getting the translucent or beige pearl(for a more noticeable glowy effect) since this sorta blends into my skintone more then I'd like it too. Despite that it's still fantastic, gives me a nice glowy sheen. Another thing, because of the cruddy loose pan and Bulky Packaging, I'm definitely depotting this like htownpai from Youtube did.

Trip Two~

Where: Target
Worth: $18.68
Paid: $8.68

More Impatient buying because these were more products I was going to get from Wally World, but they didn't have it in stock or sold there at all.

Shimmer Strip Bronzer in Waikiki Strip/ Peachy Glow: $9.04(Paid $4.04)~ Love the whole multipurpose idea. Reasons I bought this particular shade; it had a shimmery pink, that might possibly be the shadow I was looking for and the bronzer part was super dark which I think will actually show up on me. Plus the "Peachy Glow" name should out to me too.

Custom Eye Enhancing Gel Creamliner in Green Eyes: $9.64(Paid $4.64)~ As I stated above, I'm addicted to eyeliners And slowy but surely LOVING cream/gel liners recently and I really wanted to try a green and purple one so obviously I snagged these, Awesome steal for 3 liners.

Trip Three~

Where: CVS
Worth: 23.98
Paid: $1.98

Crazy right? Tomorrow's the last day for the 6 off face items from Physicians Formula, pair that deal off with the 5 off coupon I linked above and your saving 11 Bucks on every item!
~ Although apparently the CVS I bought these from limited everyone to only 2 coupons because there was a problem. :T I would've gotten 6 items there if it wasn't for there specific store's policy.

Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blushes in Blushing Berry: $ 12.99(Paid $0.99 each)~ Believe it or not these two blushes are apparently both marked as "Blushing Berry". O_o Not sure if it's a mistake or not, but I do know that the right one is the true Blushing Berry, if it is a mistake, because it would make more sense and that it's the one that is shown on the website. I think the left(lighter one) is actually Blushing rose, BUT it still doesn't match the online photos.

Trip Four~

Where: CVS (different one from above)
Worth: $34.95
Paid: $6.97

Still during this week so I took advantage of the sale once again and saved 11 on each item, except eye booster since that isn't a face item. AND Unlike the CVS above they allowed me to use as many as I wanted coupons as I wanted.

Eye Booster in Clear Serum: $10.99 (Paid $5.99)~ Wanted to see if these product would actually grow my lashes. So to do a through test I'm going to use this and the eyeliner everyday to make sure I have either one on me 24/7.

Powder Palette Multi-Colored Blush in Blushing Nude: $11.49 (Paid $0.49)~ Why the price is lower then the other CVS? I don't know... O_o But never the less 49 Cents! WOOT!~

Mineral Wear Foundation in Buff Beige: $11.49 (Paid $0.49) Again WOOT 49 Cents~ Still on the look out for a foundation that covers decently, doesn't break me out and lasts. *Crossing my fingers* BUT I'm going to store this after until after I finish up at least one of my other foundations.

Extras:

Where: CVS (From the 3rd Trip)
Worth: $10.28
Paid: $2.58

Will explain deal below!

Rimmel - Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer: $7.29(Paid $1.83)~ I've always wanted to try a primer and see if they do make a difference or not, plus this was the perfect time.

New York Color - Tinted lip balm in Sugar Coated: $2.99 (Paid $0.75)~ I already have 2 of these in different colors, there okay but I heard this is a dupe for something and that it shows up the most. Oh and the little dent is because when I got home I immediately tried it out. xD

CVS NEWS!:

You've probably noticed the orange stickers above? Well...

...apparently CVS is started another 75%/50% sales, like they did in the beginning of this year. That means MAJOR savings people! Run don't Walk or else someones definitely going to snatch up everything before you.

No clue how long or big it'll be, seriously RUN Forest RUN!!!

Note: Only a few CVS have started the sale(3rd trip CVS did, but not the 4th), but if yours hasn't yet, you could go to the scanner and see if it comes up or not.

Haul: ELF, NYX, and a little more. :P

Okay, I've been getting a little too much stuff lately. Sure, they're all cheap products, but it adds up... And before any person says anything, this is a collective haul. The store I've visited were Target, Ross, The Dollar Tree and a little beauty supply shop near my dad's work.

My Eyes Lips Face Portion of My Haul:

I went a little Elf crazy, My Reason: Because my Target FINALLY got an ELF display and I've been DIEING to get some things, since I can't buy online. I usually Only Buy Products if they're on sale, but I made an exception for ELF. Reason being since everything was either a $1 or $3. So yes ALL of these products were purchased at full price.

Studio Bronzer in "Golden": $3~ I was hoping for the warmer bronzer because I'm too dark for this and I knew that, but I still got it because I was hoping it could be a nice highlighter or Maybe still give me a "sun-kissed" sorta look still.

Essentials Eye Primer: $1~ I sorta got this confused with the Mineral Primer. ^^; I didn't notice there were 2 versions till I remembered that the shape was different then the Raved about one. I guess I was too Excited when I saw the Display. XD

Facial Whip in "Lilac Petal": $1~ I wanted a highlighter so I for a buck why not? The only 2 choices of facial whips on the display were this and "Spotlight" but, I thought spotlight would look too light so I chose this. In Reality, its not lilac at all in my opinion, more like a light beige.

Essentials Lipstick in "Fantasy": $1~ Its a nice brown color, but goes on sheerer then my hand swatch. Turned out to be a nice nude lippy on me. Definitely buying more of these.

Studio Cream Liner in "Black": $3~ I've recently have been obsessed with Cream/gel liners. I have to say, The mini brush it comes with is the Best free brush so far, its not scratchy and JUST as soft as the other studio brushes.

Studio Powder Brush: $3~ a.k.a. the Flat Top brush. Holy Crap... I'm in LOVE. I've been dieing to get a flat top because I want that "flawless airbrushed finish" everyone's talking about too. D: I was really debating to get the either the Sonia Kashuk $15 brush or the $13 highlighter brush OR the Face Secrets $13 one, after losing hopes on getting this since I can't buy online. You BETTER believe I immediately grabbed this when I saw it at my local Target.

Dollar Tree:

Studio Lip Stain in "Lucky Lady" and "Mysterious": $3 - selling for $1~ I really wanted to try out a lip stain, and for a dollar at the Dollar Tree, again why not? After trying it out its definitely not a lip stain and more like a long wear lip stick.

Ross:

Beauty Book in the "Eye Brights Edition": $5 but $4.29 at Ross~ I was so happy to see this at my Ross after I saw a Video comparing this to one of the Urban Decay Book of Shadows. To be honest, I'm not impressed. The colors looked pretty, but its REALLY bad. I mean after the Wet N' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadows for the same price, this in Horrible quality...

The NYX Portion of the Haul:

From a Local Beauty Supply Store near my Dad's Workplace, in Tampa 40 Minutes away from me. This was the ONLY place I've ever seen that sells Nyx products. So since the first time I discovered it I was itching to go back and get me some more stuff. And so a couple months later, I finally got this chance.

Concealer in a Jar in "Glow": $4~ I really wanted to try a jarred concealer for awhile and hear this was quite good.

Round Lip Gloss in "Peach": $2~ My Favorite Lip Gloss Formula EVER. I've never tried the Mega shine ones though. These are completely somewhat hydrating, smooth and not sticky. I wanted the peach or apricot one because I'm really into the mindset of wanting to buy corals/peachy shades lately. I ultimately chose the Peach one since I wasn't sure I wanted to go so bold so fast.

Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Dark Brown", "Yogurt", and "Cottage Cheese": $3~ Now what is a Nyx hauls without these? after getting Milk, I Really wanted to get these. Dark Brown for a smokey look base. Yogurt for a shimmery nude base. Cottage cheese for a inner highlight.

Now for the Extra Things I've Purchased:

From Target:

Nivea, A Kiss of Recovery: $3ish - sale for $1.99~ I've loved Nivea Lip Balms for a long while now and I wanted to try this out HOPING it'd be my savior form these random serious chapped lips I've been getting. And so far its Pretty nice.

Nivea, A Kiss of Smoothness: $3ish - sale for $1.99~ My SECOND kiss of Smoothness. Keep in mind that THIS was the ONLY chap stick I Ever finished in my entire life. I Love this stuff.

Pixi, Eye Bright Kit in "No. 3 Tanned/Deep": $24 - Clearance for $6~ WHOPPING six dollars!!!! :D That's 18 bucks saved people. My first semi-high end product. But to be quite honest from first impressions, I'm not too impressed... Not worth the Original $24, maybe okay for 6 though.

And with THAT I end my Haul.
My Last Haul for awhile too. ^^;

Haul: Target Clearance!

There's been a Target Clearance Sale going one for a couple weeks. There weren't an extreme amount of clearances like CVS, but I recently went and there were still quite a few items there. It seems like the only foundations on Clearance were the darkest ones; so if you have a deep complexion, go check your local Target. If your a Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner fan, packs of 2 are going on Clearance for (if I remember correctly) $6.23! Even some of the Pixi, Jemma Kid, Neapolitan Perdis brands, Sonia Kashuk, are on sale.

My Mini Haul (purchased about 1-2 weeks ago):

 Total Cost: $4.83 w/o tax
Would-be Cost: $19.42 w/o tax

1) Maybelline - Expert Wear Single in "Emerald": $2.94, But on sale for $0.73! I had to get it! SOOO Cheap, so I thought meh what's so bad about getting it. I mean seriously, 73 CENTS. Its a very misleading name, its actually a sky blue. Like the packaging suggests, its shimmery but I definitely wouldn't say is that shimmery at all.

2) Sonia Kashuk - Retractable Foundation Brush: $11.99, But on sale for $2.98. You saw right, flipping $2.98!!! I had to get it. Its not big enough in my opinion to be a foundation brush, but as a Concealer brush. <3 then again retractables are usually smaller for a reason right? XD

3)Maybelline - Expert wear Blush in "Romantic Plum": $4.49 but on sale for 1.12. >___< Fail. Fail. FAIL. No one get it!!! No color payoff at all, pressed to hard, and if you get a bit of product off its Chalky. I was hesitant about getting it in the first place because it was so light and I'm probably and NC 35-40 for reference, but I thought, why not, just a dollar and I could try to work with it? WRONG. to be honest I doubt it'd even show up on the fairest of fair skin.
