Eyes Lips Face(e.l.f.):

 No sales, or anything with these Items, but considering every ELF product is $1 to $3 anyway, it wasn't a biggie. 

ELF Studio Blush in  Pink Passion: $3~ I'm really not a pink person in general much less Hot pink, but it looked like such a unique bright color for so cheap, it basically was screaming for me to get it.

Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Baby Lips: $1~ To be honest, I just got it to try out the clicky Stilia pen packaging. ^^;

Custom Compact: $1~ Got it to Obviously store some of the Custom eye shadows. So far I'm blown away. This isn't a dinky compact at all. Defintely going back for more to store some depotted powders in the future.

Custom Eyeshadows in  Truly Pink , Moondust, Golden Glow &  Mocha: $1~ Absolutely beautiful, I've worn these a couple times and so far so good.

Yes To Carrots:

How? I just bought it at Ross. Every time I go and there is something from Yes to Carrots I snag it. Don't underestimate Ross, they have a bunch of expensive  skincare, makeup and hair care there that they sell for half or less then the real price. 

Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Facial Mask: $14.99 (Paid $3.49)~ I definitely wanted to try a mask that was natural, in hopes that it will help and not break me out. 

Yes to Tomatoes Facial Hydrating Lotion: $14.99 (Paid $3)~ Your probably thinking Dry skin mask/oily skin lotion, contradicting much? But Nupe, tried the Yes to Cucumbers lotion and Loved it, worried that I'd run out fast, I bought this to see if it would work better for my Combo skin.

Finger Paint's Nail Polish in Tiffany Imposter, Lavender Highlight, & Easel Come, Easel Go: $4.99 w/o card (Paid $3.99 each)~ I don't own a Purple/blue cremes and I also wanted a pure silver color.

Finger Paints Ashley Purse in teal: $14.99 w/o card (Paid Nothing)~ Comes in Purple, Pink and Teal. The web pictures are very color misleading. On the Website they look like elegant Pastel colors, but in reality the Purple is actually a Dark purple and the pink is actually a muted medium pink. The closest to the color on the website was the teal one and the one I chose. I'm loving it a lot so far, very cute. :3 It also comes with a 50 cents off a FP NP attached. 

China Glaze Nail Polish in Tempest: $5.99 w/o Card (Paid Nothing)~ Such a pretty duo chome Blurple color.

Review: E.L.F. Studio Bronzer in "Golden"

Retail Price: $3

Amount: .4 oz / 12.3 g

What is it? Pressed Mosaic Bronzer

Buying this I knew full well that Elf's Golden Bronzer would be WAY to light for my skin tone as a bronzer, but I thought it'd probably work as a highlighter.

Packaging: Lemme get this outta the way... As we all know E.L.F.'s Studio line is totally riped off from Nars. Not that I'm complaining, I love it. The only difference from the Logos is that the these don't have that rubberized feel of Nars packaging, of which I heard was incredibly annoying since powder and other stuff would stick to it. So Thumbs up for E.L.F. Another things I'm loving about the packaging is that its pretty thin for easy storage(although its pretty big width wise) and that it has a huge mirror(as you can see above), despite the fact I don't use it. ^^;

Elf's Golden Bronzer swatched all swirled together.

Texture: It was a bit chalky when swatched, But it blends out nicely.

Pigmentation/Color: This has good pigmentation. Its not Matte so go for the Cool bronzer if your looking for a matte one, but I'm not implying that this willl turn you into a glitter bomb because it won't. It just gives you a nice health glowing sheen. Since its a Mosiac you could also double it up as eye shadow, so yay for the multipurpose-ness.

Purpose: As a bronzer it's definitely a fail, it would probably be too light to server as a bronzer for even the fairest of fair skintones. Although, it does make a great highlighter.

Here is the effect this had on my skin:

Golden Bronzer applied on bridge of nose, cupid's bow and top of cheek bones.

Buy again? I think this is a great product, but I personally wouldn't run out to get this again if I ever run out, which I doubt, since its a lot of product anyway.
Would I recommend it? Sure, good for this up coming summer and is only 3 bucks.

Review: ELF Beauty Book "Eye Brights Edition"

I had Never seen these Beauty Books in my drugstore so when I was at my local Ross, and started jumping for Joy, not literally of course, from finding this all by itself in the clearance aisle. To my Surprise, it was still in mint condition and not defiled or broken into bits so I immediaty took it to the cash register and claimed it to be mine.

Here are the main reasons I was SOOOO Pumped for this pallet. It seemed like all the swatches and reviews I've seen on this are nothing but gorgeously pigmented and good. Not to Mention I remember a couple of people saying that most of these colors are Dupes for one of Urban Decay's Book of Shadows. Obviously I am aware that the Quality will most likely not rival the Urban Decay shadows at all, BUT considering that I am way too broke to afford one of those, this was the closest I'd ever get to owning one.

That being said here's my Opinion on this:

 Although I myself never use these little guide things because I rather experiment myself, I do thing this would be rather useful for beginners.

I'll explain the dig marks in a second.

Now for the Swatches:

Retail Price: $5, but I got it for $4.50 at Ross.

What is it?: 12 Eyeshadows, 1 Eyeliner pencil, 1 sponge tip applicator

So when I got Home, the first thing I did was wash my hands(Germaphobe) so I could start swatching this baby as soon as I can and BOY was I SOOOOOO disappointed. >______<'

Four these are Utter duds and the colors that I thought were going to amazing were horribly sheer. As you can see The first 3 of the TOP row going left to right and the first shadow of the second are basically just shimmer, and if you think you see any color its because I repetitively swatched it to try and get a decent swatch. The Medium green, purple, and the Blue with a hint of green and yellow were the colors I was most excited about but they are SO sheer; the green a bit more sheer then the blue and purple though. D;

Don't even get me started on the Sparkly Black. Yes, according to the swatch above your were probably thinking "Holy Cow! That Black looks so pigmented!" or "But this pallet can't be that Bad.. The Black looks Awesome. D:" am I right? But Nope. At first swatch it is a chalky Balled up mess. It wasn't until I rubbing my finger back and forth a few times, for the black you actually see of there.

 Thanks goodness that NOT ALL of the colors are useless. The Brown, Taupe(very top right) and the Red are delightful, not the most pigmented but workable none the less. In the Okay-ish range is the silver in the bottom left corner. The Silver is the most interesting or unique of the colors in my opinion because although its chalky and all, on close inspection it has multicolor glitters.

NOW, onto describing the textures of these shadows. The majority of them just feel like your  running your fingers across them and flattening them out and still not getting any product off. Because the texture was odd I decided to use a brush to see if that would help any and yes, it got some product out, but you were also digging the product out too(Explanation to the nicks and marks). The only the ones I mention in the paragraph before this didn't have that texture and you could get the shadows onto you finger/brush easily.

The Black Pencil Eyeliner: I guess it'd be Okay if your a beginner, BUT I wouldn't suggest you use it considering its feels like it would easily smudge.

Maybe I just got a bad one, but I'm definitely not going to chance it again. Although there were 3 or 12 eye shadows that were decent, they weren't even THAT good. :T A total waste of my 5 bucks, of which I could've spent on the Wet n' Wild palettes that I know are good quality. To also point something out, even though is was a Dud in my book for ELF Cosmetics, It doesn't mean I don't like the company. There are many of their products that  I do like and stuff I want to try.

Despite the fact that I don't like this palette much at all, I still created a look using it.

Okay, I've been getting a little too much stuff lately. Sure, they're all cheap products, but it adds up... And before any person says anything, this is a collective haul. The store I've visited were Target, Ross, The Dollar Tree and a little beauty supply shop near my dad's work. 

My Eyes Lips Face Portion of My Haul:

I went a little Elf crazy, My Reason: Because my Target FINALLY got an ELF display and I've been DIEING to get some things, since I can't buy online. I usually Only Buy Products if they're on sale, but I made an exception for ELF. Reason being since everything was either a $1 or $3. So yes ALL of these products were purchased at full price.

Studio Bronzer in "Golden": $3~ I was hoping for the warmer bronzer because I'm too dark for this and I knew that, but I still got it because I was hoping it could be a nice highlighter or Maybe still give me a "sun-kissed" sorta look still.

Essentials Eye Primer: $1~ I sorta got this confused with the Mineral Primer. ^^; I didn't notice there were 2 versions till I remembered that the shape was different then the Raved about one. I guess I was too Excited when I saw the Display. XD

Facial Whip in "Lilac Petal": $1~ I wanted a highlighter so I for a buck why not? The only 2 choices of facial whips on the display were this and "Spotlight" but, I thought spotlight would look too light so I chose this. In Reality, its not lilac at all in my opinion, more like a light beige.

Essentials Lipstick in "Fantasy": $1~ Its a nice brown color, but goes on sheerer then my hand swatch. Turned out to be a nice nude lippy on me. Definitely buying more of these.


Studio Cream Liner in "Black": $3~ I've recently have been obsessed with Cream/gel liners. I have to say, The mini brush it comes with is the Best free brush so far, its not scratchy and JUST as soft as the other studio brushes.

Studio Powder Brush: $3~ a.k.a. the Flat Top brush. Holy Crap... I'm in LOVE. I've been dieing to get a flat top because I want that "flawless airbrushed finish" everyone's talking about too. D: I was really debating to get the either the Sonia Kashuk $15 brush or the $13 highlighter brush OR the Face Secrets $13 one, after losing hopes on getting this since I can't buy online. You BETTER believe I immediately grabbed this when I saw it at my local Target.

Dollar Tree: 

Studio Lip Stain in "Lucky Lady" and "Mysterious": $3 - selling for $1~ I really wanted to try out a lip stain, and for a dollar at the Dollar Tree, again why not? After trying it out its definitely not a lip stain and more like a long wear lip stick.

Ross:

Beauty Book in the "Eye Brights Edition": $5 but $4.29 at Ross~ I was so happy to see this at my Ross after I saw a Video comparing this to one of the Urban Decay Book of Shadows. To be honest, I'm not impressed. The colors looked pretty, but its REALLY bad. I mean after the Wet N' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadows for the same price, this in Horrible quality...

The NYX Portion of the Haul:

From a Local Beauty Supply Store near my Dad's Workplace, in Tampa 40 Minutes away from me. This was the ONLY place I've ever seen that sells Nyx products. So since the first time I discovered it I was itching to go back and get me some more stuff. And so a couple months later, I finally got this chance.

Concealer in a Jar in "Glow": $4~ I really wanted to try a jarred concealer for awhile and hear this was quite good.

Round Lip Gloss in "Peach": $2~ My Favorite Lip Gloss Formula EVER. I've never tried the Mega shine ones though. These are completely somewhat hydrating, smooth and not sticky. I wanted the peach or apricot one because I'm really into the mindset of wanting to buy corals/peachy shades lately. I ultimately chose the Peach one since I wasn't sure I wanted to go so bold so fast.

Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Dark Brown", "Yogurt", and "Cottage Cheese": $3~ Now what is a Nyx hauls without these? after getting Milk, I Really wanted to get these. Dark Brown for a smokey look base. Yogurt for a shimmery nude base. Cottage cheese for a inner highlight.

Nivea, A Kiss of Recovery: $3ish - sale for $1.99~ I've loved Nivea Lip Balms for a long while now and I wanted to try this out HOPING it'd be my savior form these random serious chapped lips I've been getting. And so far its Pretty nice.

Nivea, A Kiss of Smoothness: $3ish - sale for $1.99~ My SECOND kiss of Smoothness. Keep in mind that THIS was the ONLY chap stick I Ever finished in my entire life. I Love this stuff.

Pixi, Eye Bright Kit in "No. 3 Tanned/Deep": $24 - Clearance for $6~ WHOPPING six dollars!!!! :D That's 18 bucks saved people. My first semi-high end product. But to be quite honest from first impressions, I'm not too impressed... Not worth the Original $24, maybe okay for 6 though.
