Review: Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette

I was actually not planning to get another vice palette after my dying interest in my Vice 1 palette with the exception of a couple shades. Seriously. But after seeing at the amazing jewel tone colors in the Vice 3 palette, I had to have it.

Packaging: 7/10
The palette itself is thinner than the previous palettes (around 5 mm thinner). They also changed the opening mechanism. The Vice 3 is a magnetic closer, whereas the previous Vice and Vice 2 were latch closers that steadily rose the lid. It also comes with a large mirror the size of the lid.

On one hand, I do actually like the chrome silver/lime color scheme with the funky blur of colors on the front. Very sheek 80's. What I have a beef with is that it feels a ridiculously cheaper than its past version. It's made out of a really light cheap plastic that you would expect out of the drugstore. Also the "Vice" logo looks tacky. Maybe it's the font, but I would have much preferred the "UD" logo from the previous Vices, it just looks nicer font-wise and as a "jewel" like embellishment.

Truth: Pink toned matte creme. 

Undone: Cool toned matte beige.

Downfall: Matte medium brown.

DTF: Matte Taupe.

This column is composed of an array of great basic blending out shades, which are must haves in anyone's eyeshadow collection. All shades are pigmented and smooth. My only gripe with these is that they are super powdering. Very lightly dip your brush in and you almost kick up dust. Thankfully these are pretty light shades for the powderyness to not be a big deal fallout-wise.

Dragon: Metallic spring green.

Freeze: Frosty sky blue with white glitter

Heroine: Matte navy with blue sparkle

Brokendown: Shimmery golden bronze

Vanity: Shimmery dark purple

Lucky: Metallic orange-based gold. This one of the most pigmented in the palette.

Reign: Brown shimmer with a pink iridescence

Bobby Dazzle: Frosty white with gold shimmer

Alien:  Medium pink pearl with a gold sheen

Alchemy: Magenta Pearl with a lavender sheen

Bondage: Blackened purple with red/pink shimmer. Another huge pigment winner.

Sonic: Metallic coppery red

Last Sin: Champagne shimmer with white sparkle

Angel: Taupe shimmer with white sparkle

Defy: Matte dark grey

Revolver: Black with navy shimmer


Extras:

Brush: Its a double ended brush, much like the last brushes that came in the past Vices. One side is a dense C-shape shadow brush and the other is a sparsely packed bending brush. Its just inconvenient to store.

Bag: It's a well made bag and could probably fit the smaller tablets, but its not padded at all so maybe just makeup is the way to go for the bag. Wish they traded the bags for better palette material.

Overall:

Definitely better quality eyeshadow wise than the first Vice palette.  Bondage and Lucky are the most pigmented. Angel is pretty sheer in pigment and Defy is a bit uneven too. Packaging quality is a thumbs down. Shadow-wise this is a pretty good well rounded palette.Great for beginners because it has matte blend/highlight shades, shimmery neutrals, and jewel tone shadows to shake things up. Would make a great holiday gift.

Review: Urban Decay's Vice Palette

I was going to post this review some time mid-December, but my laptop died. >___>; Then right when I got a new one, life hit me pretty hard. But enough with the excuses, here is my LONG put off review.

Where to get it? Limited Edition at Sephora and Ulta 

Packaging: 9/10 I actually quite like it. Having had it for months already, it's still as good as it was the day I got it with its durable rubbery plastic. The only problem is that because it's rubbery, it attracts powder like crazy so it's not as clean as it once looked. The raised acrylic/plastic jewel is a nice touch to the sleek purple packaging too.

I love the fact that the lid slowly opens on its own once you push latch button. The Vice palette also has a HUGE mirror, which is convenient.

Brush: 7/10 In general, I'm not a fan of double sided brushes because of the awkward storing options. That being said, the quality of these is really excellent for something that comes included in a palette. The synthetic bristles are as soft as they come. The blending side is quite spares and is nice for sheering out the pigmentation. The other side on the other hand is very dense and stiff, which does pack on colors well. Yet, I still don't reach for these much, but they are good if you don't have many eye shadow brushes to begin with. Still, I would've preferred an eyeliner. 

The Swatches (with and without flash):

L-R: Desparation, Muse, Jagged, Blitz, Penny Lane

Desparation: Dark grey with a very subtle sheen. Okay to work with and the pigmentation is okay.

Muse: Matter dark brown base with notable bronze glitters throughout. This does have a bit of fallout and the pigmentation is a bit weak.

Jagged: Deep slightly greenish antique gold. This is a nightmare to work with: fallout, not pigmented, ang gritty. It's a beautiful shade, but it takes a load of work. I recommend to use it wet and on a sticker base.

Blitz: Very bright metallic gold.

Penny Lane: Light shimmery golden orange.

L-R: Junkie, Chaos, Occupy, Unhinged, Black Market

Junkie: Shimmery greenish teal. Drop dead gorgeous color.
Chaos: Matte Pacific blue. Somewhat patchy and a wee bit hard to blend.
Occupy: Shimmery dark blue tinted gunmetal with silver glitters.
Unhinged: Shimmery sky blue.
Black Market: Close to matte Black. Not the Blackest of black or the most pigmented, but still easy to work with.

L-R: Provocateur, Rapture, Vice, Noise, Armor

Provocateur: Super glittery silver lavender. Expect major fallout, so it's best with used wet with a sticky base.

Rapture: Shimmery dusty purple.

Vice: Shimmery medium purple.

Noise: Hot pink with a sheen and chunky gold glitter. I'd expect the glitters to not show up because they easily fell off.

Armor: Dark gun metal with silver glitter.

L-R: Nevermind. Echo Beach, Anonymous, Freebird, Laced

Nevermind: Frosty brown taupe.
Echo Beach: Shimmery beige.
Anonymous: Matte creme.
Freebird: Shimmery light pink with chunky glitters. This is quite chunky in general so with this expect fall out.
Lace: Matte pink toned beige.

Quality: 8/10 Generally speaking, most of the shades are very pigmented and easy to work with, except Muse, Jagged, Provocateur, and Freebird. . There is a consent look out for fall out with many of these shadows. Personally speaking, despite Jagged and Provocateur being a mess, they are very worth the effort to make work because of how nice the shades are.

Overall:
8/10
The Vice Palette has a variety of finishes and colors to mix and match. This palette may seem like it's geared toward the color-lovers, but more than half of the shades are neutrals. The Packaging is a plus compared to Urban Decay's usual cardboard. The drawback of this palette was the fact that it was expensive compared to the other palettes out at the time
Would I Recommend this? Yes, for the people out there that want to spice up their neutral looks with a bit of color.

Review: LE Maybelline Eyestudio Quad in "Cozy Cashmere"

Maybelline's shimmer eye shadows are really good, as I stated in my last post, but how would their mattes perform? My answer: pretty darn good. I believe "Cozy Cashmere" is the only Maybelline Eyestudio quad to contain mattes. Although I could be wrong because I haven't look into them until the pass month or two.

What is it? 4-pan eye shadow palette/quad
Where to get it? This is Limited edition so you may still find it at Walgreens or where ever this collection appeared.

Unlike my last review on Copper Chic, this has a variation of finishes. These are still very pigmented, silky smooth, and not powdery. 

This quad contains a:
Metallic Nude - The shimmers in this one are larger and shinier than that of the nude shade from the copper chic palette.
Satin Dark Brown with scattered Gold Shimmers -  The impressive thing about this is that you actually can see the gold shimmers post application. I find with this type of scattered shimmer eye shadow, they usually end up being a solid color and the shimmers just never appear or fall out onto my cheeks. I'm impressed, although it doesn't mean that there isn't any glitter fallout from this. It's just not as much.
Matte Burnt Orange - Quite silky smooth in texture. I'm loving this shade as of late. It really warms up any look when applied to the crease.
Matte Mauve-y Brown - Also quite silky smooth. This gives a nice change from your average brown crease eye shadow.

Deduction of one point for the fallout from the dark brown with golden shimmers. Other than that I think this is a lovely quad. Your able to able to a full look from it, from a warm day look to a warm smokey brown look. This palette range are really becoming nice go to's for me as of late. I really encourage the thought of Maybelline releasing more matte shades in the eye studio formula. 

Review: Maybelline Eyestudio Quad in Copper Chic

Maybelline has been stepping up their game for awhile now. These eye shadows are phenomenal,  I'm shocked I haven't given in to buying these sooner. Out of the palettes available at the time, I really gravitated toward Copper Chic because of the warm rosy pink, since I've been on the hunt for a nice pink for awhile.

What is it? 4-pan eye shadow palette/quad

The eye shadow quality of these four shades are consistently the same. One doesn't perform better than another, which I found was quite rare in drugstore shadows. Let me tell you, these are so gorgeously good too. 

All four shades have a metallic finish. The only downfall to this quad is the fact that there isn't any  variation of finishes. I have to admit that Maybelline has perfected the formula of shimmery shadows. 

It comes with a high reflectivemetalic off-white, rosy pink, bronze, and a dark brown. They don't seem to be powdery at all. To top it off they are very pigmented too. 

'Copper Chic', the name of the quad sort of threw me a bit because none of these shades are copper. Once worn it actually looks quite coppery when the shades are all put together.

Copper Chic has been my go to 4 out to 7 times a week for the past month. I have to say at this point its close to becoming my top favorite drugstore quad. Wet n' Wild, watch out! (Even though the Eyestudio came out way before the Coloricon.) I've been reaching for this so often that I feel a bit guilty for ignoring my more expensive eye shadows too. Despite my feelings, I MUST get more.

Collective Haul: Up to 11.27.12 + Black Friday stuffies

I want to first say that I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was wonderful and that everyone was able to shop safely as they hunted for some deals.

Sooooo I finally got a Job this pass month so I've been pretty bad with my money. I'm still in the process of figuring out how to deal with money without gunning it all. More about that in a later post.

Here is my Haul from the pass couple months along with Black Friday deals and a couple after BF stuff.

Sephora/Disney - Cinderella palette: I was torn between getting this or the Tarte Carried Away palette.  I just chose the pretty gimmick in the end because I've been super into fairy tales as of late and it does say that it's Vol. 1 so hopefully more to come to collect~ So far I like it, but it definitely comes with problems of it's own.

Target Beauty Bag: I'm so Sad this is the last one that they're giving out. D; I'm loving all of these little makeup bags that come with the samples.

Maybelline Color Tattoos LE - Test my Teal and Rich Mahogany: The textures of this are way better then the regular line in my opinion. I was quite sad that I couldn't find the Beige or Dark Gold Limited Edition colors. 

Revlon Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie and Fig Jam: These shades are great and I'm liking the texture of these. I've been reaching for these all the time. 

China Glaze - Deviantly Darling and Rare & Radiant: I was quite disappointed in these. The duochrome wasn't too apparent. But They are still pretty none the less.

Jordana blushes - Coral Sandy Beach and Redwood: These gems are amazing, super cheap, and pigmented. I finally got the chance to venture into a Kmart to get these. I've been wanting these for awhile now.

Sinful Colors - Cinderella, Winterberry, and Glass Pink: Cinderella looks gorgeous in the bottle, but I'm not a huge fan of the formula. Winterberry is a nice dusty purple with tiny white shimmer flecks. Glass pink is a great "clean" color.

Ultimate Poshe - Crease brush set: I wouldn't recommend these to be honest. They're a bit scratchy

Threshold Fuzzy Blanket: This is so amazingly soft. I've used it twice so far and I felt like I was drifting on a cloud of baby bunnies. 

Snake Double ring - I've always loved snake rings and it was on sale for 99 cents for Black Friday.

Nyx Blush - Copper- I love the shimmery pigmented quality to this and it's not your traditional pinky blush color.

Nyx Eyeliner - White: I think I want to try giving the white waterline trick a go one more timee with a more pigmented white.

Review: Ulta Single Eyeshadows

I'm still super happy that an Ulta moved in close to me. Definitely planning to head back there sometime to check out the Essence, Ulta, and Nyx displays.  Absolutely digging the plethora of  testers for just about every makeup item in the store. So until then I might as well add some swatches of the Ulta single shadows I hauled HERE. Like I said in that post, these were on an amazing buy two get two, plus I had a 20% off purchase coupon.

Sunburst, Toast, Grace, Honeybee

Retail Price: $7.00

What is it? Eyeshadow Single
Where to get it? Ulta

Animal- testing? No.

Product Claims:

"A silky, fine-milled eyeshadow that glides on and blends easily to define and brighten your eyes. This formula is enriched with emollients for long-lasting color that will not crease or fade. Dramatic enough for evening wear and versatile enough for daytime wear. With over 90 shades to choose from, there is definitely one in there to suit any mood or event! Brush not included."

Packaging: Sturdy, flat and circular plastic that flips open. Clear top with white font. Dark gray base with a mirrored coat around the edge of the packaging. 

Sunburst - 

Shimmery peachy gold. The shimmers are pretty fine. The pigmentation is okay, but you may have to build the color twice. Barely powdery.

This shade caught my eye, even if it's a generic color. Although the display one was more creamier and pigmented then the actual single that I have. (=.=;)

Toast -

Shimmery taupey bronze with a tinge of pink. Good pigmentation. Not powdery. 

Couldn't keep my hands off getting another taupey color, but the pink hue does make it differ from the rest of my taupey bronzes.

Grace -
Matte dusty purple. Good Pigmentation. Not powdery. Very silky smooth.

GYAH, I've been trying to find a nice pigmented dusty purple for awhile after drooling over Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2. I didn't want to fork over 50 bucks on the palette just for a shade, but I was even contemplating dropping $16-$18 bucks to get the single Heist or Cult. Glad that I don't have to do either.

Honeybee -

Matte yellow. I wouldn't say it's the brightest yellow though. It might need to be built up and is best with some sort of sticky base. Not Powdery. Very smooth.

I believe I may still be obsessed with doing a nice rainbow eye. But if not for that, it's actually pretty wearable with my tan skin complexion.

Overall: 4.5/5

Recommend to another? Yes.

Their quite nice and fit the price range quite well. You also get a bit of product that will probably last awhile. Not the hardest to store either. I definitely will purchase other shades in the future.

Review: Wet n' Wild Coloricon Knock on Wood Trio

Retail Price: $2.99

Amount: 0.12 oz./3.5 g

Available Colors: (It'd take me forever to list them all, but I can tell you that there are 19 in existence. 12 Permanent. 7 Limited Edition.)

What is it? Eyeshadow Trio

Where to get it? Walgreens, Walmart, CVS(some), an possibly other local grocery/drugstores in the US.
Claim: 
 "Coordinating trio shades take the guesswork out of creating the perfect eye look.
      -Beautifully enhances any eye color
      - All-day, crease-resistant color"

 Swatches:

 Wet n' Wild's 383B Knock on Wood  swatches.

Packaging: Flip open plastic case, the bottom/base is Black, while the top/lid is transparent. It's also very slim and retangular, so it's very easily stored. Not the most sturdy, but not the worst. it also comes with a sponge-tip applicator and a angled brush applicator, whish is horribly cheap and scratchy, so I usually just chuck them away. 

Texture: These like many of the Wet n' Wild palettes are quite soft, which leads to powderyness and sometimes fallout. 

Pigmentation: Nicely pigmented, nothing less than what is now expected from Wet n Wild after they came out with their Coloricon line.

Longevity: Everyone has different eye shapes and skin types that can play into this, plus I normally always use a base or primer on my lids, so I can't really vouch for the longevity.

Color One by One:

Browbone - It's a matte dusty mauve with fine silver shimmers. It's not extremely pigmented, but it is decently pigmented. Honestly, I think that as a browbone shade it would look ridiculous, but as for a blending color, it's nice.

Crease - It's a satin finish cool dark brown. Pigmented, but it is initially a bit chalky and pretty powdery, so watch for fallout.

Eyelid - It's a satin finish lighter burgundy color. It is also pigmented it wasn't too bad with fallout. It's nice as a lid, but amazing paired with a green on the lid with this in the crease. 

Look using Knock on Wood: 

Overall:

4 out of 5

One off because the mauve shade isn't the most pigmented. For a Trio that I bought for 3 bucks and just wanted for the burgundy shade, I'm pleased with Knock on Wood and am pleased with the other shades. 

Would I recommend? yes.

Review Wet n Wild Coloricon palette in Comfort Zone

So since the review I wrote for the I Heart Matte a few days ago I started thinking that maybe I should write a review for the other Wet n' Wild palettes I've have gathered over the last couple years too so expect a slew of Wet n' Wild reviews coming up. To start, I give you a review about Wet n' Wild's Comfort Zone palette~

Retail Price: $4.99

Amount: 0.3 oz/ 8.5

Available Colors: Comfort Zone, Petal Pusher, Blue Had Me At Hello, I Heart Matte

What is it? 8-pan Eyeshadow Palette

Where to get it? Walgreens, Walmart, CVS(some), an possibly other local grocery/drugstores in the US.
Claim: 
 "A stunning collection of 8 silky, ultra-pigmented day-to-night colors. Mix-and-match for a variety of looks from sweet to wild!
      - All-day, crease-resistant color"


Packaging: Like other Coloricon line packaging, it's a flip open plastic case with a clear top and black bottom. Not exactly sturdy, but does the job. It also does not include a mirror, which personally I don't mind. On the back it has a chart that suggests where to place the eye shadows with different combinations and looks. The eyeshadows themselves are imprinted with either: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, or Definer.

Pigmentation: The most pigmented out of the other 8-pans like this. All of these shades are pigmented. One shade in particular in this palette I might even consider too pigmented and that would be the left definer.

Texture/Finish: I'd say you'd only have to watch out for fallout and powdery-ness with only two of the shades. I'd like to add that someone should not swirl their brush because you will grab WAY to much eyeshadow and powder will go everywhere. The eyeshadows in this palette contain a shimmery, pearly, or duocrome finish. There is not a single matte in this palette.

Longevity: These last about the same as other good quality shadows on my semi oily lids. With a good primer or base I don't see these creasing that often.




Swatches:

Left Browbone: Chunky shimmery yellow creme. Definitely watch out with the glittery fallout with this one.

Left Eyelid: Pearly warm tone pink with golden sheen. My favorite color in this entire palette(if you can't tell by the dent in the 1st picture). So smooth and creamy.

Left Crease: Pearly bronzy brown.


Left Definer: Very dark brown with copper shimmers throughout. All you need is a feather light touch and you'd probably still have enough for other person. Honestly when I use this color I can really see any of the copper shimmer. Also because of the softness and pigmentation of this you should watch of fallout with this shade.

Right Browbone: Pearly dirty golden champagne. I think it'd look like a odd browbone color, but as a eyelid color it looks very pretty.

Right Eyelid: Shimmery leafy green with splash of gold.

Right Crease: Very dark olive green with gold shimmers throughout.

Right Definer: Reddish brown base with a forest green duocrome. Probably the shadow that many people wanted this palette for. I don't think it really looks too appealing as a definer color but as a eyelid or layering color it's gorgeous.

What I came up with:

Super shimmery subtle pinky golden bronze smoky eye using the left side of the palette. All Shadows were used as labeled. Oddly the eyelid color kept registering as a gold in the camera. 

Using the first 3 shades from the right side of the palette(not the definer color).  I used the Eyelid and crease as suggested but I used the Browbone in the inner corner. 

Now to showcase the Duochrome definer.  I put it across my entire eyelid. I then added a bit of the right crease color to deepen the outer corner a little more.

Overall:
4.5 out of 5
I like this palette. Not so much the Left Browbone, but I quite like the rest of the colors. As the name suggests, this palette would probably fit most people's comfort zone while giving one the option to add a bit of color with the green shades. One would also easily go from a day look to a dramatic smoky night look.
Would I recommend? Yes, if you miss out on the Night Elf palette from the 2010 Christmas collection or are new to Wet n' Wild eyeshadows. Although, if you have all the palettes: Night Elf, I'm Getting Sunburned, Walking on Eggshells and/or Sweet as Candy, I'd pass. Of course unless you want those 2 greens in the palettes.

Review: Wet n' Wild Coloricon palette in I Heart Matte

Retail Price: $4.99

Amount: 0.3 oz/ 8.5 g

Available Colors: Comfort Zone, Petal Pusher, Blue Had Me At Hello, I Heart Matte

What is it? All Matte 8-pan Eyeshadow Palette; I believe and/or like to believe that this palette isn't Limited Edition, but I could be wrong.

Where to get it? Walgreens; it should be in a end cap wall display along with the holiday baked palettes
Claim: 
 "A stunning collection of 8 silky, ultra-pigmented day-to-night colors. Mix-and-match for a variety of looks from sweet to wild!
      - All-day, crease-resistant color"

Packaging: Just like the other 8-pan palettes, it's a flip-open-from-the-bottom plastic case with a clear top and black base. Not exactly sturdy, but does the job. It also does not include a mirror, which personally I don't mind. On the back it has a chart that suggests where to place the eye shadows with different combinations and looks. The eyeshadows themselves are imprinted with either: Browbone, Eyelid, Crease, or Definer.

Pigmentation: The majority of the colors are VERY pigmented. All you need is a dab and your covered. Although there are only two to three shades where I had to layer a bit to get a completely opaque color.

Texture/Finish: Generally they're a bit powdery, especially the Green Eyelid shade. You may experience a bit of fall out but not much at all if you tap off a little before applying.They are ALL matte, hence the name. If you stare harder at the Purple definer shade you may see a bit of sparkle, but rest assured it comes off completely matte.

Longevity: Although I do have semi oily eyelids, I never wear eyeshadow with out some something moist on my lids for eyeshadow to stick to whether it be a base, primer or light moisturizer. That being said, these do actually say crease-less longer then some of my other eyeshadows, probably because they are a bit powdery.

Colors/Swatches:

Left/Colorful side-

Browbone- A stark white. One of the shades I mentioned that I had to build a little to get the desired pigmentation. Overall quite good, since its pretty hard to find a opaque white.

Eyelid- Plain kelly green. As mentioned before it's the most powdery shade out of the bunch, so definitely watch out for fallout.

Crease- Between an electric and sky blue.

Definer- Neutral purple, that doesn't lean blue or red. Also one of the shades that needs a little layering.


Right/Neutrals side-

Browbone- Creme color. Some would say that it's the same as the single in Brulee. Color-wise, yes it is, but pigmentation-wise, I find the cremes in Wet n' Wild palettes are more pigmented. It's also very soft/powdery, but I'm less consider with any fallout with this because it's a light/skin tone color.

Eyelid- An orangy tan. Again, one of the shades that need a bit of work. Sadly it is close to my skin tone color so it wouldn't show up much on my eyelids.

Crease- Dark and sightly red-toned brown. Same as the matte dark brown in the Vanity 6-pan palette, but softer.

Definer- Standard black. If your looking for a nicely pigmented black I suggest getting this palette or Blue had me at Hello.

What I came up with:

 This is using the Left side of the I Heart Matte palette plus the Right's browbone color plus double winged eyeliner for added drama.

White Browbone: Inner corner
Green Eyelid: Central of my eyelid
Blue Crease: Outer corner
Purple definer: In my crease
Creme Browbone: On my brow bone and blended heavily with the purple in my crease.

 This is using the right Neutral side of the palette. I used all the colors where it is suggested this time for a soft smokey wearable eye look.

Tan Eyelid: On my eyelid.
Brown Crease: In Crease
Creme Browbone: On browbone blended into the brown
Black definer: In my outer corner

Overall:

It's great to have all the basic matte shades in one palette. I don't like using one finish for an eye look, but the purpose of this palette is to be all matte after all.
Would I Recommend it? Completely~

Haul~ Finally Joining the Bandwagon

So from my recent break from blogging anything because of my lack of camera, I've been yearning to show my top favorite hauled items during that time.

Let's kick this off with more nail polish.
*sigh* Seems like I've been going on a polish buying spree recently. Nail polish is just too pretty to pass up nowadays.

Kleancolor Nail lacquers in Holo Chrome, Sugar Coat, Bridal Shower - $1.99~
Bought them at a local accessory store in Tampa. I've tried them all and I have to say Bridal Shower is my Favorite, but it's so hard to remove. ): Sugar Coat was a bit goopy and slow drying too.

OPI DS Collection in DS Amethyst- $15.99
Bought it at a local Beauty supply store in Tampa. OPI Holos look so Gorgeous, so expensive but so worth it. The most I've ever spent on a nail polish.

Orly, Birds of a Feather Nail Lacquer Gift Set with Fowl Play, Lucky Duck, Sweet Peacock, and a Extra bag- $9.99~
I was so trilled when I found Fowl Play at my local Sally's Beauty Supply. I was dieing to get it since summer, after I heard it was a dupe for OPI's Merry Midnight. My Sally's stopped displaying the individual collection so I bought the set, which was a great deal since your getting Three Orlys for $10. So far I've tried Fowl Play and Lucky Duck, but I plan to try out Sweet Peacock soon enough.

Physician's Formula Set with Baked Souffle, Classic Basics, Touch of Smoke- $6.99~
Complete Steal. For $6.99, it was like a buy one and getting two free. Plus I've been wanting some more neutral colors. I've been Loving Baked Souffle quite a bit, but quite underwhelmed with  Classic Basics. Touch of Smoke makes a good subtle shimmery layering color.

Urban Decay's Naked Palette with a mini Primer Potion and a Good Karma Eyeshadow brush- $48
I paid $21 plus tax. How? I had a $15 off $50 coupon from my Email and $12 left on a Jcpenney gift card. Yay, for getting more then Half off on a high end Product. :P
But Yes, I've finally joined the Naked cult, extremely late considering the Naked 2 just came out, but after searching up reviews comparing the two, although I love taupes to death, I can't seem to pull off greys or silvers. So I didn't take any chances and went with the original Naked. The Original also came with a mini Primer Potion, that I've never tried.
 I'm also super stoked that this is my first Urban Decay product, but also my first full sized high end product.
